Rates & Billing
Bitcoin Discount
While our rates are denominated in Canadian dollars (CAD), discounts are applied to all invoices paid in Bitcoin (BTC). Exchange rates are based on the Bull Bitcoin sell rate at the time of invoice generation.
Base rate
Our base rate is based on current Canadian federal government consulting rates, as of January 2025 reported to be $600/hour (https://youtu.be/K8AoAS40sd8?feature=shared&t=92). The base rate applies to all services provided ad hoc or scheduled less than 24 hours in advance. Time is invoiced in 0.25-hour increments. Reduced rates are available for services scheduled greater than 24 hours in advance, retainers, and projects. Custom rates sheets can be provided after an initial consultation.
